August Random Rants

Happy September folks. It's now September 5th and I'm just getting to my rants for August. Maybe you fine folks should start placing bets, for how many days into the month I go before posting the rants for the last month.

My August was filled of welcoming my second child into the world and navigating and adjusting. Thus while I may have watched wrestling this month, I surely wasn't paying enough attention.

So this blog will be short and sweet. Since we're on baby news....

First off Much congratulations to Naomi and Jimmy Uso. From watching Total Divas (yes, I watched it) a child was something she wanted badly. I know she's mentioned the older she's gotten it seemed less likely to happen. I'm so excited for them that its happening.

On that note congratulations to Cody and Brandi Rhodes on the new addition to their family.

New Day has cooled off and its disappointing. Before they turned heel Xavier Woods was one of the best heels in the business. They are trying but it seems not to be clicking like it can be.

I do like Grayson Waller tagging along with them trying to find his way.

So glad they are doing something with Gates Of Agony. They are perfect muscle for Richochet, and while Toa Liona is a solid wrestler. I've been a fan of Kaun since his Maryland Championship Wrestling (MCW) days. I believe he has the tools to be a major player.

Kiana James & Giulia are a pairing I'm digging. I think Giulia is one of the best female wrestlers in the world. While Kiana has some potential and oozes star power.

I'm with Big Vito Bret Hart's whining is beyond old by now. It's like if he isnt being praised then he's unhappy as fuck. Life is too short to always be that miserable.

I was disappointed that TNA decided to visit Baltimore for the first time ever. The same week my daughter was born. From what I could see they got a decent crowd for Genesis and the TNA taping. So I hope they return before the end of the year.

I could be on the minority but I think its time Seth Rollins moves on from his vision persona. I think he's doing great work and I enjoy his association with Paul Heyman. I just think that character is reaching the end of its course.

That was quick and all for me folks, til next month.
