September Random Rants

Welcome back folks for another edition of random rants. It's official that we are steamrolling towards the end of the year as time is flying. I saw a post online last week that truly captures how I felt about September.

On to my random thoughts...

TKO and WWE deciding to lower the number of house shows moving forward, is a long time coming. While it serves a purpose as far as getting young talent a chance to get comfortable in front of audiences and testing new gimmicks etc. Out. They are considered skippable by most fans especially when money is tight for everyone.

I wrote a blog a few years back about ways House shows could be more enticing.

I for one am excited about 2 hour raws even if it's temporary. It's so hard to commit to 3 hours when your tryna get little ones ready for the next day, yourself, spouse and your just tired from work.

On that note Rumors are abound Smackdown will be 3 hours as well starting in January. Does WWE believe in less is more? I get the additional hour of ad revenue but it's OK to leave fans wanting more.

New Day potential breakup has been exciting. Xavier Woods has been putting in some of his best work. His concerns are believable. While many know Xavier Woods would be the better heel. What if Kofi strikes first and turns on Xavier?

Bradshaw's random appearances with various promotions is very intriguing. They seem to have no rhyme or reason and he just pops up, makes a statement and leaves. It will be interesting if there is a end game to this.

Congratulations to Jacqueline, Victoria, Ken Shamrock and Armando Alejandro Estrada for legends/nostalgia deals. They all deserve it.

Next up I hope my boy D'lo gets his flowers and  contract?

I like Marina Shafir as Jon Moxleys "Chyna" so to speak. He doesnt need her but its always good to have some extra muscle.

I also look forward to a more ruthless Blackpool Combat Club as they lost they way for a while. Until turning on Danielson at All Out.

I'm So glad the FTW title has been retired. It served no purpose and just muddied the already complicated championship picture in AEW even more.

I watched Mercedes Mone interview on The Breakfast Club. I don't understand  why when she cuts promos she's so cringe. She really needs to tone down on some of her mannesirms and annunciation when she's doing promos. Resort to a style similiar to when she's conducting normal interviews.

This past weeks tag match between The Young Bucks and Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay was Amazing. A match of the year candidate despite what any naysayers may think.

Don Callis is being so underutilized in his current role. He needs to be presented more and with a talent they want to build as the next singles star.

MVP debuted in AEW so that likely means Lashley isn't far behind. Those two are gold together dating back to TNA as the BDC. I also look forward to a promo standoff between MVP and Don Callis.

The System is so underrated as a faction right now. They have been consistently putting in great heel work.

That's all for this month folks. Spooky season is upon us.
