5 Women Of Wrestling You Probably Forgot

The world of wrestling is fast paced and the stories and characters are constantly changing and evolving. As a result as the years goes by, there always some characters in this world that are forgotten by the masses. Valets, Wrestlers, managers, backstage interviewers, women plan many roles in the pro wrestling landscape. Here are 5 women you probably forgot about.

B.B.

In the fall of 1999 an EMT appeared on WWF TV, that received a bit more attention than usual. This young lady would soon be named Barbara Bush or BB. She was mainly used for gravy bowl matches and bikini contests, before being released from the company in February of 2000.

She made a handful of appearances that summer in WCW, sporting red hair. Within a blink of an eye she was gone from the company and the public eye. She briefly showed up in TNA during the early years as Taylor Vaughn "Miss TNA". After exiting the company she left wrestling completely and many fans memories.

Raquel

Gabriela Castrovinci was a contestant on Tough Enough in 2015. After being eliminated from the show, she went straight to work on improving her in ring skills.

TNA signed her to a contract and she debuted for the company in January 2016. Her biggest angle occurred where she made attempts to seduce Bobby Lashley. That storyline went nowhere, then she became manager of the Bromans. Her last gimmick was that she loved taking selfies, even inside the ring during matches. She finished with TNA in early 2017 and spent time in the independents before leaving wrestling altogether.

Not sure if she lost the passion or what, but she had potential to still be a major player in women's wrestling today.

Joy Giovanni

Joy Giovanni was a 2004 contestant on WWE diva search that year, she was eliminated from the competition but still was signed to a contract. She appeared on Smackdown later that year and became a integral part of an angle between The Big Show, Kurt Angle and JBL and the Cabinet. She eventually became the on-screen girlfriend of The Big Show. As well as was embroiled in a feud with Amy Weber that didn't amount to anything.

She was released from the WWE in 2005 and outside of one appearance at Wrestlemania 25, she hasn't done much with the wrestling business. She currently has a podcast speaking on topics of spiritually and meditation called Spirit Speakeasy

Midnight

A professional bodybuilder, Midnight debuted in WCW in the fall of 1999 during Vince Russo's first run. Paired with Booker T. the light's would often go out and she would make her appearance in the ring, assisting Booker in disposing of some suckas. She assisted Booker T. against Curt Henning and Creative Control, even facing off against Curt Henning one on one in a match. As well as backing up Booker T. up in his battle against Harlem Heat 2000.

She had a unique look and physique but was very green in the ring, and could have used more time at the WCW Power Plant. She was out of WCW by the end of February that year and left the wrestling business altogether.

Elektra

In the fall of 1999 Cyrus The Virus (Don Callis) introduced a new valet to ECW. Her name was Elektra and she was paired with Danny Doring and Roadkill as their manager. She turned on them in early 2000 to join the New Dangerous Alliance. And lastly managed EZ Money and Julio Dinero before ECW disbanded.

She was famously known during her time with ECW, for having the ability to flex her boob muscles on command. And she partook in some catfights against Jazz. Once ECW disbanded, she made a few appearances in TNA during the early years and ECW's One Night stand in 2005.
