5 Wrestlers TNA Should Induct In The Hall Of Fame

Ahead of their annual marquee event Bound For Glory last night, TNA inducted 3 new deserving members into their Hall of Fame. ODB, Amazing Red, and Konnan who all contributed to TNA still kicking today. While watching the interviews as I often do, I started thinking about who deserves their flowers by being elected into the hall. So the wheels started churning in my head and here we are. I present 5 TNA legends who deserve their hall of fame call.

Petey Williams

The "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams was a reliable player for team TNA, always answering the call with what was asked of him. He joined the org as a member of Team Canada, and while not a forefather of the X-division. He more than held his own in the division, winning the X-Division championship twice. He was hilarious teaming with Scott Steiner and morphing into "Little Poppa Pump".

He pioneered the innovative front flip piledriver known as the Canadian Destroyer. And over 3 seperate stints in TNA, he gave it his all every time. Those reasons are why he deserves an induction.

TARA

When TNA's Knockout Division was showing they meant business, comprised mainly of talents who were just getting national TV recognition. They signed veteran Lisa Marie Varon known as Victoria in WWE to help legitmize the division in 2009. She became Tara in TNA and instantly made it known she didn't come to play making The Beautiful People her first targets. Within her time in TNA lasting through 2013, she won the TNA Knockouts championship 5 times. She also was a one time Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Brooke Tessmacher.

ODB shouting her out during her hall of fame induction, proves just how valuable Tara was to the womens roster. She deserves her seat in the TNA Hall of Fame.

America's Most Wanted

One of TNA's most decorated tag teams in the companys nearly 25 year history. James Storm and Chris Harris were day 1 members of the TNA roster. They put the tag team division on their back and built it up, feuding with the likes of Team 3D, Triple X, and LAX. Winning the tag team championship 6 times in the organization. If there's anything against the team, they spilt way too soon in 2007. However, if the team didn't spilt James Storm would not have experienced the solo career he ended up having.

In many ways he owes that solo career to his time in Americas Msot Wanted. For how they stablized the division in it's early years. Americas Most Wanted deserves their shine.

OG LAX

Konnan received his hall of fame induction not only as a talent, but what he has done for the business. Primarily helping fellow Hispanic talent and Lucha Libre. Now it's time for the OG Latin American Xchange (LAX) faction comprising of Konnan, Homicide, and Hernandez to get their shine. During their original run during TNA's early Spike TV years, mannn that trio was red hot! They were militant proud Hispanics denouncing TNA's (and Americas) treatment of Latinos. With their fercious gang member mentality, they were a force to be reckoned with.

They were controversial then, and man it would be beyond controversial now. The group was so successfully they have been resurrected with new members, two additional times.  Signifying how important that group was to TNA's history.

Monty Brown

The "Alpha Male" Monty Brown a former NFL player and TNA original that hailed from the Serengeti. He was a work in progress but all the tangibles were there. He had the size, a physqiue, charisma, and could talk on the mic. He was a premiere player within the organization during his time there, and while he didn't win the Heavyweight championship in the promotion. There were many folks clamoring for it and still wish he had of.

He left for WWE in 2006, and they did not know what to do with him. Then a family situation forced him to step away from pro wrestling for good. He is one of the biggest what ifs in pro wrestling, and while he has started to resurface at conventions with fan praise. He deserves his flowers on a stage surrounded by fans and his peers.
