What If? Miro Joins TNA

 

TNA's big event of the year, Bound For Glory is this weekend and I'm sure the company has some surprises up their sleeve. One of which I think would be great is if Miro appear's at the event and stakes his claim in the land of TNA. After being away from AEW TV for over a year, and divorcing from his wife CJ Perry in March. Miro requested his release from the company last month, while requested no official announcement has been made on if the request was granted or not. Being as though he's had a rough year and a very inconsistent run in AEW since joining in 2021, he may need a change of scenery. 

Which is where TNA would come into play, anyone who pays attention knows that TNA as a organization have been masters at reigniting careers, and giving guys who were talented but just needed the opportunity to shine a chance. They excel at making their talents shine in the small pond, but they also could use some help to build the brand. As such they have partnered with WWE to cross promote with NXT, which has dramatically helped Joe Hendry's profile. They also need big name talents to help draw people.

Miro is a big name talent, he was instantly pushed upon his debut in WWE in 2014 and who can forget Rusev Day of a few years ago? Not only that he gained some popularity outside of the wrestling ring, by being a focus of Total Divas alongside CJ. If he suddenly appeared in TNA and attacked Nic Nemeth or Joe Hendry, or took on The System or TNA (The North Armory) by himself. Hell I wouldn't mind if he took out PCO just to make a statement a new "monster" is in town. He could still carry that "redeemer" moniker even if the nickname has to change. He is ferocious in the ring, while displaying in several avenues that he as charisma and is funny. At 38 years old, he still has some time on his side to dominant the wrestling ring. Even win a world championship in TNA, something that has eluded him in WWE and AEW.

I for one would go ape shit if Miro showed up in TNA. I think the sky would be the limit for him there and he could really portray that steam rolling monster role. In a couple days we will see if my hope comes true.
