The Next Hostile Takeover

 This past week wrestling fans shit their pants when Anderson and Gallows showed up at the end of Dynamite to help they're boy Kenny Omega. If that wasn't enough of a "holy shit" moment, the Young Bucks ran out to calm things down only to eventually join their old bullet club pals. Now if you ask me, based on how reluctant the Young Bucks seemed to throw up the two sweet sign. Callis has some dirt on them and got them to join in.

If this group is truly going for a hostile takeover of Impact and AEW, and it's done right I believe fans are in for a hell of a ride. Unlike several other invasion angles, this one has some very intriguing plot points to keep it chugging along for a while. Why exactly would Omega & The Bucks potentially sabotage their own company? What exactly does Don Callis and his Invisible Hand moniker have up his sleeve?

When I think back to various invasion angles many had quick success based off shock value, but eventually burned out. The Nexus angle in WWE died off quickly after Super Cena cut the balls from every member of that faction. Aces & Eights in TNA fizzled out because there were no long term goals with the faction. Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling invasion of Impact was killed off due to behind the scenes legal issues.

Retributions invasion of WWE has been a trainwreck because they've been going week to week. The WCW/ECW Alliance angle didn't produce all the dream matches fans wanted to see at that time. Of course the famous nWo angle while wildy successful ran entirely too long, and went through too many interpretations. 

I say all that to say this, I truly believe however this story plays out. There is already a endgame in mind of how things will play out, and several more surprises waiting to be unleashed and have fans buzzing all over the internet. Callis is a underrated creative mind and talent in wrestling dating back to his days as The Jackyl in WWF, and CyrusThe Virus in ECW. I for one will be tuned into Impact and AEW every week looking for every new development in this story.
