Abadon & Impact Perfect Match Made In Hell
Pro wrestling fans armchair book, that's just what we do. We think of ways that underutilized wrestlers could get over, we come up with fantasy matches that would never happen. We formulate ideas in our heads that would make the product "better" in our minds.
I recently did some armchair scouting/signing with Abadon. Now Abadon has been with AEW for about 2 years, and she has a very unique look. She takes the goth and horror look and has multipled it to ultrq creepy vibes. Her hair is always disheveled, makeup is creepy, and her contact lens add to her look. Her zombie crawl during her entrance and subtle movements also add to her overall presentation. She is TERRIFYING!
She is also one of many AEW roster members not being used. If she were to leave AEW at the end of her deal, Impact would be the perfect place for her.
When it comes to all of the organizations embracing the "spooky" element of wrestling, Impact does it the best back to their TNA days.
Roster members like Rosemary, Su Yung, PCO aren't portrayed in a cheesy manner. Their character strengths are accentuated to make the character stand out in a "normal" world. Think PCO with his Frankenstein presentation or how Rosemary and Su Yung are associated with the undead realm. Hell Broken Matt Hardy and The Broken Universe, was created, perfected, and became popular as hell in wrestling all through Impact.
Abadon would fit right in with the Knockouts roster and bring a eerie vibe to the division. Opponents would be terrified of her because she is legitimately scary, until she meets her match with Rosemary or a returning Su Yung.
She likely could improve her character in Impact, since honestly she won't get far in AEW. She is simply a sideshow attraction honestly. If it ever happens I'm all for the Abadon/Impact marriage made in Hell.
