Impact On Prime? Could Be A Good Partnership

If you ask me Impact Wrestling has the most consistent product out there, and has been for a while. One criticism I see on several wrestling forums is "I don't have Axs". Despite the fact Impact has a YouTube membership, streaming app Impact Plus, and is available on Fite TV. Now to some folks point, I do believe Impact and Anthem Entertainment (Their parent company) should start looking into more options to get the product more eyeballs.

Specifically hitting new markets for live events (Impact loves Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and Canada.) I live in Baltimore and Impact has never held a show here, they attempted a live Impact during the Hogan/Bischoff regime but tickets weren't selling so it got cancelled. Anyway, Impact honestly could use another show even if it's a one hour show.

Which brings me to Amazon Prime. Streaming services have been making moves to get into the live event business to compete better with traditional networks and Cable stations. Apple TV airs Baseball games, Peacock has baseball games as well, along with WWE and Soccer. Even Prime has baseball games and Thursday Night Football games with the NFL.

With the writers and actors strike in Hollywood looking like it won't end anytime soon. Amazon may go looking for more live entertainment on a weekly basis, and Impact is just the promotion for them. The two previously worked together when Impact would simulcast on Twitch, so a partnership is already there.

Impact gaining a new program on Prime could do wonders for Impact's brand. Particularly if it's own program separate from the flagship show, but the quality of the matches and storylines are just as good. For Impact to grow, they'll need to think outside the box more. I think this would be a perfect opportunity for both Impact and Prime.

I'm just speculating here but maybe one day it will come to fruition.
