WarGames Team Wishlist

It's time for War Games. As we look forward to Survivor Series tonight. I started to think about the history War Games and boom who would have been good participants in the match.

There are so many long term factions or brief team ups that would have been good matchups. Following the traditional four on four or five on five lineups, I settled on five teams. With that, here are five teams I wish had the chance to participate in War Games.

Filthy Animals

The first choice seems odd, but hear me out. Back in  the fall of 1999 when Vince Russo took over he decided to make a team out of Kidman, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Konnan. The group really was WCW's lighter copycat version of the WWF's D-X team, and Konnan was the mouthpiece. Now backstory aside, think of the talented individuals in the group.

Imagine the speed and agility of 3 members of the team maneuvering around the ring, and hopefully the cage would be high enough to allow them to dazzle off the top rope.

A 20 something year old Rey Mysterio definitely would have stole the show. I'm sure he would have found some way to use both rings to his advantage. Showing off his unreal aerial skills.

Konnan would maintain the ground game with his brawler/technical style. While the other three make their opponents dizzy.

The Filthy Animals in a War Games match would actually be a more exciting match than one would think.

Nation Of Domination

A War Games match would have been a good opportunity, for The Nation Of Domination to brutalize their opponents and stick it to "the man". Inside the two ring cage they would have been able to cause chaos and dominate.

Faarooq and Mark Henry were Powerhouse wrestlers. Especially a Faarooq spinebuster, as someone watching that move looked like it just screamed pain. Kama was a powerhouse as well but he incorporated brawling in his style as well.

D'lo is going to provide some aerial support. While The Rock in between his move set would provide the theatrics in his reactions.

All that aside, the five would have been a good fit for a War Games match.

LAX

Ok this one I'm kind of thinking outside of the box with. Take both popular incarnations of LAX from TNA/Impact. Homicide and Hernandez from the mid-2000's era of TNA, then take Santana and Ortiz from the 2010's era of Impact.

Hernandez would be the pure enforcer for the team. Homicide, Santana, and Ortiz are all skilled wrestlers, but they are also gritty and scrappy. Not afraid to do what they have to in order to win. With Konnan outside the ring as the wild card, never knowing how he would interfere.

The four of them as a unit against any squad in War Games, I'm placing my bet on them.

The Wyatt Family

The monsters of The Wyatt Family absolutely deserved to be in a War Games match and cause chaos and destruction. All four members were hosses. Bray had that unique skill that for a big guy, he was quite fast.

Rowan and Harper were no slouches either. While Braun doing that point in his career still was a work in progress, but had pure power. Especially against a slightly smaller team they could throw around between the rings, The Wyatt Family would have been absolute dominators in War Games.

The R4dicalz

These four were a huge "get" in early 2000 when the WWF hired them. They were immediately thrust into the main event scene before going their own seperate ways.

Dean and Benoits technical prowess, Saturn's power brawling  style, and Eddie's back with another team. His agility and ring general skills would be on the spotlight. They would have put on a show during a war games match and each would have been able to spotlight their individual attributes.

These four in a cage against another team with nowhere to go. I'm pretty sure if they didn't get the win they would have went down fighting hard. Their opponents would have been exhausted afterwards.
