5 Possible Royal Rumble Wild Card Winners

 Royal Rumble is this weekend and in good nature fun, fans are throwing out their picks for who will win the Royal Rumble. With big names like John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns entering the fray this year.

I started thinking about some wild card winners that would be completely out of nowhere. Talents that are taken seriously and are legit contenders, just no one would think of right now. With that here are 5 wild card Royal Rumble winners.

5. Damein Priest

Damien Priest was a solid World Champion last year for the WWE up til Summerslam. His stock fell off however once the Judgement Day turned on him. He spent the rest of 2024 spinning his wheels in a feud that went on entirely too long.

Now that he is on Smackdown he can move on and work his way back up the card. Making a statement and winning The Royal Rumble would help build him back up as a centerpiece roster member.

4. Jey Uso

Right now I don't think there is anyone on the roster more over then Jey Uso. Just look at how over he is with the crowds when he makes his entrance. The whole arena is waving their arms in unison and yelling Yeet! every chance they get.

He lost as expected against Gunther at Saturday Night Main Event. A Royal Rumble win followed by a aggressive slightly more serious version of Jey on the road to Wrestlemania. May quiet all the naysayers about his potential as a serious World Champion contender.

3. Jacob Fatu

Since his debut in the WWE it was well known, Jacob Fatu was being set up to be a big star. If you seen his work outside of WWE you know why that is. While right now it seems the main Bloodline narrative is on hiatus, Fatu is making strides to break out from the rest.

A Royal Rumble win would catapult his rise to the top of the card. Destroying everything in his way to cement himself as a top star in the WWE.

2. Bron Breakker 

At some point the main roster of WWE will need to start incorporating talents of the next generation into the main event. Bron Breakker is the guy to lead that charge. The current Intercontinental champion is honestly just holding that championship bidding his time.

If he were to win the Royal Rumble it would shock the WWE ecosystem. He would be more than ready to faceoff against Gunther, Cody, or maybe even Kevin Owens. And show them their is a new dog in the house.

1. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn is a guy that has put his time in, always near the top of the card and just close enough to a world championship but always just missing it. He's one of the most over members of the roster, very well rounded between in-ring talent and personality. Most importantly you can feel all the emotions he puts into every promo and match.

A Royal Rumble win coinciding with a slow burn heel turn(which I think is the direction he's going). Would really shake things up and as his behavior changes, make him one hated man on the road to Wrestlemania. His win would be a true wild card moment in Royal Rumble history.
