Broken Skull Wish List Part Deux

Last Fall I wrote a blog on future guest I would like to see on Broken Skull Sessions. At the time all of Stone Cold's guest were legends so my list primarily focused on that with one exception. Since it appears more interviews will be done with the current roster, which I enjoy as it allows fans to know more of their story and get to know them. I decided to do a second list of current roster members I would like to see on Stone Colds show.

10. The Usos

So far Broken Skull Sessions is all one on one's, but switching the format up and bringing the Uso's on would probably be a dope interview in my opinion. The two brothers while at times can be over the top have personality to make for a interesting interview. They could cover being Rikishi's sons, growing up, how long it took them to find their footing in the WWE and much more.

9. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe is a 20 year veteran of the ring who made his name outside of the WWE system. He's a laidback no nonsense guy who has a story to tell. From his stints in ROH, to being what I call one of the godfathers of TNA's X-divison. Leaving TNA, adjusting to WWE's system, injuries and probably some good old fashion shit talking between the two.

8. Kevin Owens

While we're still on the shittalker train, KO talks his fair share of shit. Stone Cold wouldn't have to do much work to get KO to provide his thoughts on various things. Topics could include KO's journey, his willingness to put his body on the line, and of course the blessing from Stone Cold for KO to use the stunner.

7. Cesaro

Cesaro is a very talented wrestler that fans have been clamoring for to get his shot at the top. He has a dangerous aresnal and can make just about any one he competes against look good. I get the sense Cesaro is a rather shy guy outside the ring, I'm sure Stone Cold could break him out his shell. Reflecting on Cesaros time in the indys, various gimmicks in the WWE, and of course his response to Vince Mcmahons famous Brass ring comment

6. Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans is a polarizing talent among fans. Many will admit she does have a "It factor" but will agree her in ring work still leaves room for improvement. In my opinion her character does need a tune up, and maybe after she returns fans will get that. What's interesting about Lacey is her story, her rough upbringing and what led to her joining the marines and how it changed her life. Other topics could include where she gets all her southern belle attire and how much luggage does she have to take on the road with her.

5. MVP

I am a MVP mark, I even wrote a blog on giving him his flowers now. By being the head of the Hurt Business he has rejuventad Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexanders respective careers. He's another shittalker but MVP also has a story to tell. Being imprisoned, finding wrestling, creating the MVP character, going to Japan, and his efforts to help reform the criminal justice system. MVP would be a great guest on Broken Skull.

4. Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is the EST of WWE. Her recent WWE 24 documentary shed light on her character, her struggles, and the amazing support system she has. An interview with Stone Cold would only increase fans connection with her. Covering more of her track and field and crossfit backgrounds, the idea of the hair, how important it is to be a postive Black role model. I would watch this interview soon as it is available.

3. The Miz

I first heard of the Miz when he was goofy, annoying Mike on MTV's the Real World. A few years later he shows up on the Smackdown version of Tough Enough and I thought I know that guy he made it. He signed a WWE contract and had some growing pains along the way, but he has greatly improved over the years. He is a PR magnet for WWE, and a interview with Stone Cold highlighting how he got on the Real World, trying out for tough enough, and the growing pains mentioned would make for an interesting interview.

2. Kofi Kingston

Kofi is a 15 year veteran of the WWE system who has stayed true to himself while gaining success. His WWE 24 documentary shed light on his background which Stone Cold could pull from. Topics have to include who decided to make his character Jamaican, rolling with the punches throughout the years. Forming the New Day with Big E and Xavier Woods, how he comes up with his Royal Rumble spots and which one is his favorite. Winning the WWE championship, Kofimania and what it meant for representation. Hopefully Stone Cold would dig a little deep and ask about his feelings on losing to Brock so quickly on the first edition of Smackdown on fox.

1. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan would be an interesting interview for Stone Cold to have. An indy darling trained by the greatest of all-time HBK, he made a name for himself as the American Dragon and even spent some time in WWE's indy system back in the early 2000s (I have VHS stored somewhere of this). He came back to the WWE, got fired for the tie incident, came back and went on to become one of the most popular wrestlers of the last 10 years. Topics would have to include origins of the Yes Movement, how he felt about the whole tie incident, being married to Brie Bella, how it was for him after having to retire and of course what it meant to him to be able to come back.
