On Monday night WWE and Netflix teamed up for a Stranger Things themed Raw, to celebrate WWE's 1 year anniversary on Netflix and the finale and success of Stranger Things . WWE went all out with a themed intro, set pieces added to the stage. The Ring area and Gorilla position decorated with tentacles from the upside down. Merchandise including t-shirts and the Stranger things custom championship. While I had reservations when it was announced because they went all out, I enjoyed it. While some consider it synergy between partners. Others consider it corny, a form of consumerism and capitalism and so on. While its not something I would want to see done all ths time.
